Amanda Mudd is a Mom, Wife, and Daughter of 2 amazing Role Models, and a fierce believer that we can solve our deepest challenges through building a community together.

If elected as a Pewee Valley City council member I will work in coalition with the Police, Mayor, and other city council members to deliver bold, systemic change and redefine what is possible through city leadership across our neighborhood and community.

Growing up, I never thought I would run for office one day. As the daughter of a lawyer and teacher, I understood from my youngest days how my family and many others feel unseen and unheard in our society. I want to change that for my family and my community. Everyone’s voices should be heard and valued in the community. Together we can make a difference and we can make a community that everyone is proud to call home.

I went to college and earned my dual degree in Communications and Sociology, so I could understand how to effectively work with my community and neighbors. I saw firsthand how government and politics can help solve problems at a young age through my father’s hard work and dedication. I want to help remove barriers and empower our people. That’s why I am running for City Council in 2024 in Pewee Valley and why I work every day to build community and push for the future that our kids and community deserve.

This work is deeply personal for me. As a mom to Alexandra and Lincoln, every day I feel the urgency of families fighting the system to hear us and to build communities that are healthy, safe, and resilient. Now’s the time for us to lead together.
